RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1.
Riders age as at 1st January 2010.
2.
The judges decision is final and binding at all times.
3.
All horses/ponies in Ridden classes must be 4 years old and over.
4.
The Leek Show Committee reserve the right to cancel or amend the schedule at their discretion.
5.
Anyone seen riding in a dangerous manner or ill treating a horse/pony will be disqualified from any competition entered with no refund.
6.
All riders must wear the correct riding gear and up-to-date headwear. Back protectors are recommended in Show Jumping classes.
7.
No responsibility is accepted by the Leek Show Committee for any accident, injury, loss, damage, illness to spectators, horses, ponies, riders or their property, however caused .
8.
Confrontation with a judge in the ring is strictly forbidden.
9.
Any objection must be made in writing, and will be accepted for discussion, within 30 minutes of the end of the class with a deposit of £20.00
10.
In Show Jumping classes, all rounds will be timed.
11.
Anyone bringing the Show into disrepute will be asked to leave the Show, with no refund of entries.
12.
No entry fees will be refunded under any circumstances whatsoever.
13.
VETERAN HORSE SOCIETY AREA QUALIFIERS: Open to members and non-members of the VHS. Please note that ONLY VHS members are eligible to compete in the Regional Championships. Qualification cards will ONLY be given to the first 2 highest placed members with their VHS Membership/Horse Registration cards as proof of membership to the Society. These classes are also qualifiers for the VHS Summer Championships at Arena UK.

MIDLAND REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RETRAINING RACEHORSES: INHAND - Any age, height. Mare/Gelding. Must be registered at Wetherbys in the General Stud. RIDDEN - 3yrs & over age, height. Mare/Gelding. Must be registered at Wetherbys in the General Stud. Blemishes will not be penalised. Horses must have qualified from one of the qualifying shows - Leek Show, Pump House, Stafford RC, Penkridge RC, Caverswall RC, Trentham RC, Bishop Castle, Betley Show.
15.

ROYAL LONDON SHOW 2010. First, second and third placed horses/ponies in all classes marked with * at side of classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain Title classes to be held at the Royal London Show 2009. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Society within 28 days of the qualifying show.
